  Place has gone downhill fast! "the Cove" use to be A great place to dine.. Entrées are now much smaller, menu Bla and pricey for what you get. Specials run-out constantly with minimal patrons there. Fyi, they don't take Amex. Boils down to cutting service and quality menu items, to make more cash. Doesn't help that the owner is far from a pleasant person, but that has always been the case.
  My biggest complaint; a nice house salad always came with your entrée, not anymore. Rumor is their chef has left, not surprised. Food has gone downhill fast in the last 2 years. I've been going there for a longtime, not any longer. There are many choices in the area, run from this one, sad to say.
  
  Summary:
  Highly recommend you skip "The Cove", it has unfortunately morphed into a lousy establishment. I'd be very surprised if it survives.

  The Cove is a friendly place, with a relaxed feel and open floor plan flooded with natural light in the daytime and multiple big screens for sports fans. Most importantly, the Cove offers a wide variety of excellent food and drink options. You will be delighted with one of the best bowls of chowder in South County, many fresh fish options, hearty sandwiches and always interesting specials. And included in their draft beers are a couple of my favorite IPAs. This is my go-to place.
